ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

They could have approached the halls of residence at Newcastle Uni. No students there and they would have awesome facilities.

And knights players door knocking them at 3 in the morning looking for the new Europeans ;)

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't the jesters train at the uni?

They could stay at Club Celery. The beds might be a bit cramped but the pool would fit the whole team plus travelling Marinators. And I'd put on a huge after match function should we win!

Big Banner idea: With NYE wishes giving the Mariners the 3 points and the Scum the wooden spoon.

I'm against throwing objects onto the field, but I have to admit that throwing a wooden spoon onto Enema Stadium this weekend is very, very, very tempting.

From the Jest bogans forum:

"Well a draw or loss here would put the nail in the coffin that is our season."

I would buy one of those giant wooden spoons from a kitchenware store, but my new banner will be the thing in my hands on Boxing Day. It features Homer Simpson- look out for it!

International house, isn't it, that is right near Ray Watt oval.
Or Evatt house that is closest to the forum.

TBH anywhere on Callaghan campus is within walking distance so either or all res's would be fine.

Time to start a thread on this.

After two weeks of picking the exact scoreline and FIFA09 only missing out on the result once from eight games the news for this one is bad:

Wellington 3 (Smeltz, Ferrante, Daniel)
Mariners 2 (D-Mac, Simon)

Curse you FIFA09!!!!

OK. Apart from the issue that this is really becoming quite disturbing, what does the oracle FIFA09 tell us this week, Mick?

Oh, and Merry Christmas to all - see ya Boxing Day :eek:verhead:

disturbing enough (9/10) that i refuse to make a prediction this week by playing the game

FIFA09 will be back on board for NYE

The squad looks good. Better than the Scum anyway. Hopefully they lift to their maximum ability as a team and stay away from any cardings. Do that and the 3 points should be ours.
