Got first training of preseason tonight (will be wearing my star trek mariners shirt), then coming straight home to watch the game. Very excited, no idea why. COYY!

It takes a lot more to get me excited these days but, tbf I think the last couple of weeks have shown us with a lot more skill and spirit that in a long, long time... Well the first halves have... If we could play like that tonight AND NOT get a red card, there's a chance the boys might actually produce something.
I won't be there though, have training overlapping so maybe that'll bring them luck or something?

We need to play like the first half of last game ALL game. I don't see us as a 90 minute team yet.
We're playing City and they'll punish our inevitable lapses. I think/hope we'll see an improved performance again but it's optimistic to think City can't pin us to the ground if they need to.
Draw at best, admirable loss most likely.

We’re a funny bunch, us football fans. Our team has been horrendous all season so far and we rightfully rag on them and beg for change in the lead up to every match. Then on match day we still hold even the slimmest host our boys will give us something to smile about.
