If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Great day of football on offer Sunday:

Ourimbah AA5 v Toukley at Toukley 9am

Then off to Gavenlock to watch the girls play (WAA5 Gossie 2), hang around to watch Kane Willow AA Entrance play Gossie and then Prems.

Beer o'clock from 11am.

I had my leg broken at Toukley on Saturday. Im now sporting a full cast and my football season is over....

Bad luck Ted - here's hoping you have a speedy recovery

cheers guys for the well wishes. still comtemplating having a rod inserted in July to speed up recovery time. im a little hesitant now though. I did go into theatre to have the op only to wake up and find out i have to wait 4 weeks for the knee to heal from the carpet burn i got from playing indoor. having already spent 4 weeks waiting seems pointless to have the surgery.

good news my 13Bs won 5-0 today (*does a happy hop*  :p)

The mighty Woy Woy Roosters 2 - Mountains 1 in the 35D's (yours truly scored the opening goal!  :eek:verhead: )

A big thank you to our opponents (and their wives) who put on a free BBQ after the match for both teams. Great tough game, played with all of the inelegance one would expect from the 35D's and a good feed and a beer afterwards. Saturday arvo's dont come much better than that!

Once again, thanks Mountains.

Over 35B's.  Kariong United 6. Wyoming 0.

Great performance from The Relics crushing a shell shocked Wyoming team who had no answers today.
6 different scorers shows great depth in the squad.

BTW Atomic does Adam Flakus play in your team?

No, he's not in the 35DC team but we have 4 O35 teams so he may be in another - I dont know.

MAA5 Avoca 4 Def Tug 1 with only 10 guys, the weeks off did us a fav!

Good work.

Ourimbah AA5 drew 0-0 with Toukley.

Had most of the possession, play and opportunities but couldn't find the back of the net.

Killarney AA6 got their first win with a 3-1 win over Ourimbah. (about time)

Killarney 35C drew yesterday against Shelly Beach and lost today against the Entrance

Omni was brilliant as ref. The game had the potential to get out of control yet Omni reigned it in perfectly without stifling play. Well done Chris.

I was amazed at high the standard of play given it was an all age eight game. Credit to both sides.

As for being an even game, you must have your entrance goggles on mate. Your team was outplayed for large periods, Gosford had the better of opportunities and your goal was well taken from an absolute howler of a mistake from their left back.

4-1 win for our 1st grade boys at Ourimbah home to Tuggerah
that would be our 2nd win of season...last win was rd1 vs Tuggerah (away) which we won 4-1...
deja vu? not to mention our No10. scored his 2nd hattrick of season (1st won was in other win) and our other striker had the 4th.

Oh and the Tuggerah gk is hilarious
Our coach was complaining about their pushing (ref called freekick simultaenously)
GK shouts out to our coach to shutup or be quiet (or soemthing like that)

Our coach yells to GK (who was on edge of 18 yard box), you better go back in the box, you have already let 3 in today...

ROFL

GK replied 30 secs later something about them being all over us (our Gk made 1 save all match)

mind you the GK until that point had been rubbish IMO, but he started playing good after that with 1-2 nice saves...still not 1st grade quality

that would be four in seven games and seven points dropped (one loss to you and two draws) against the bottom three teams
