ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
yeh what Turbo saidToo expensive to rent. Roar were losing a massive amount to use it. Redcliff either stopped the bleeding or made a small profit and is more appropriately sized but is in a far worse spot. QLD's stadium ownership rules make it almost impossible to have a 15-20k seater in a reasonable location.
and word around the traps ( and its only from ex den members) is that the Dolphins are gonna punt the Snore anyway come next year...if that happens i got no idea what they will doToo expensive to rent. Does he need a vet for that?…He's carrying a calf injury .
Canberra Roar?and word around the traps ( and its only from ex den members) is that the Dolphins are gonna punt the Snore anyway come next year...if that happens i got no idea what they will do

Needed 13k to break even. And 13k isnt enough for a good atmosphere. What was wrong with Suncorp? I used to like going to Away games there.
Did it drown in the floods or something?
be happy it's not twinsDoes he need a vet for that?…
ipswich rednecks ?Canberra Roar?
don't encourage him
well, there is a couple of good size footy fields out there , that would make them the Qld version of the jestsipswich rednecks ?
Amazing and not that I follow league in any detail but it seems Brisbane as a city has not benefited from being a one team NRL city. Look at all the suburban ground options Sydney has. I get the location issues with Redcliff but didn’t a train line get finished a couple of years ago to that area? Never been to Ballymore, is it a more central location? Strikers ground looks two small and they will not let them play there anyway. I heard rumours it was in line for some renos. A mate always said Brisbane was a small city with big city issues. Not having better suburban grounds is a failure of the Gov’t, but then look how that state Gov’t acted during the pandemic.Needed 13k to break even. And 13k isnt enough for a good atmosphere.
We don't have a 20k square stadium in brisbane yet. Ballymore is getting a reno so that may solve the problem.
A lot to unpack there. There's heaps of suburban grounds for RL teams but not the standard of NRL suburban grounds because the Boncos always attract 25-30k++ so Suncorp is enough.Amazing and not that I follow league in any detail but it seems Brisbane as a city has not benefited from being a one team NRL city. Back to the football, I feel this team is a good chance to keep burying the Orange voodoo curse. Roar are a young team and at times quite good but just have very little by way of attack and that has cost them in many games. I hope we sneak a goal or two and our defence should keep a clean sheet. Tight fought narrow victory to the good guys.
Appreciate your insights. Agree that Rugby may not want to share their ground and their season has quite a bit of lap over with the A league season. Yeah I’ve heard over the years that the Strikers location was good. Shame it’s all a bit of a cluster. Will be interesting to see where they end up, not surprised the Dolphins will shit on football when they are up and running.A lot to unpack there. So redcliffe does have a train line and while its convenient for me to drive there its 35-40km north of the CBD. Its a long train ride from central and a long drive for most people. The train I'd a bit of a walk to the stadium so in brisbane summers, it can be brutal.
Ballymore is about 3km from the CBD and along increasingly improving public transport lines. Problem is it is being redeveloped as the home of QRU so may not be accessible for football.
Strikers ground, Perry Park is the dream location. Inner north. Fk tons of food and drink within a 15min walk. On the train line. Would be an excellent choice for Brisbane's home of football. Never gonna happen. Apparently the club is terribly run and poor AF. FQld is run by the ex CEO of Brisbane City and an ex staffer of the Newman govt. He's dodgy af and ruining community football. I wouldn't trust them to manage my dogshit let alone developing a home of football with COE.
Brisbane kinda still acts like a country town but is a megacity. Its the largest council area in the world. So lots of shit goes wrong.
Dolphins are going to be the richest club in the NRL from day 1.Appreciate your insights. Aren’t they going to mostly play out of Suncorp anyway? If true I wouldn’t be surprised if it has less to do with shitting on football and more to do with the Bakries being a pain in the arse. They’ve left a trail of disputes so maybe the dolphins don’t think it’s worth the hassle.not surprised the Dolphins will shit on football when they are up and running.
in your dreams . there is a reason the storm and easts usually always win .Dolphins are going to be the richest club in the NRL from day 1.
I'm not even guessing. Dolphins own massive infrastructure and have a leagues club attached.in your dreams . there is a reason the storm and easts usually always win .
I would be deeply suspicious if someone offered to manage my dogshit... not least as I don't have a dog.FQld is run by the ex CEO of Brisbane City and an ex staffer of the Newman govt.
