a) 2 weeks stands
b) Downgraded especially because of todays double standard

c) Because it’s the Mariners the appeal will attract a 3rd week added on for breathing.

Isn't it 1 week for the challenge plus another week?

anyway, echoing what others said and I've said it on here before - whether the decision is right or wrong shouldn't have any impact on how abuse is handled. People are responsible for their reactions - even though he has every right to be furious especially after the City game.

I've always thought that anybody not leaving the field immediately after a red should be an auto + 1 - and if they're dumb enough to do anything else that would warrant another red, they should cop that extra suspension for 2 separate offences.

Though I started thinking that when I got sick and tired of feeling like a red card back on my coast reffing days just gave the player free license to abuse me (or to try and start a fight with the opposition)....I'd always report it, nfi if anything ever happened, probably didn't.

And yes, of course all dissent and abuse needs to be stamped down on.

And, again, yes - the issue here is the inconsistency - we've seen players say worse to AL referees without a problem.

Anyway, correct me if I'm wrong - but wasn't Kunty Griffiths-Jones in the c**t-bunker for all 3 of Miller's decisions? I know he's been the laughing stock of the league for years, but these 3 are so similar that the differences can't be justified by any stretch of the imagination.

But, sure, he's a POS, we know that - why are the FA and assessors okay with what he's doing though???

I don’t think it will be reduced because the APL has shown over the last two weeks they don’t want us to succeed. The last two games have shown this comp for what it is and what it stands for. People carry on about the Lowy days and FFA, what we have now is no better and actually could be worst. We have seen three quarters of the APL’s first season, I haven’t seen the overall league and fans of CCM any more despondent than they are now. No crowds, poor ratings, poor officiating, obvious bias, teams cheating the list goes on. The sport has never been in such a bad position whilst being the A League. I used to watch 90% of the games a season, now I only watch our games. After seeing Ball’s challenge today on Kye and that fat donut eating KGJ do absolutely nothing made me feel sick to the stomach and only days after shafting us and Miller. How can that go unnoticed??? How can he be the number 1 VAR official???? We can’t answer these questions because the APL is rotten to the core.

He's a FIFA WC VAR. Thoughts on his performance aside, I'm surprised to see somebody who isn't a regular VAR, get that gig. Also surprised - and relieved - that we didn't send either of our main VARs.

Chris Beath as our ref.....has he been doing many games this season? I think he probably is our best, though we haven't had anybody selected for a couple of Cups. I tend to think he's easily our best for 99% of the game - but he can't handle big decisions. Maybe he's better when he referee's internationally - I remember Mark Shield was a completely different referee internationally to domestically (pretty sure he thought the A-league was beneath him.....), so it happens

Sending Evans surely that must be just to get him away from the A-League or is a nice little junket as a reward for his corruption this season. Are they going to pause world cup games for 8 minutes while he reviews the footage?

What an absolute joke this world cup is going to be, boycotted by some nations, plenty of punters boycotting too due to a variety of reasons (Modern Slavery, being gay is illegal and carries 7 years in prison, etc.) and sending match officials like Evans.
