ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I'm sorry to say that due to change of date for game to 15th November there will be no pre match Kendall bar available. So All Stars will be the place to head to.
My apoligies :ashamed:
Any questions please ask.

Thanks for the notification Charles.  I'm sure we can make ourselves comfy in the All Stars bar for one game :)

*cough*

My bad.

Technically, its me and my lesbian lover having a combined birthday...so it's already 2 in 1 ;)
However, add in my mate's birthday, skillers, etc....just one big birthday bonanza...

Unfort....it's a theme, so you need to be dressed up. Or down. Whatever floats you boat.

My apologies everyone. I'll buy you all a beer when I have a job.

Just a quick note on the post match. As there is very little chance of the players managing to make it, we will be having a very limited service. Just the bar open one hour after the game. The outside area will be closed as well.
Security will be on the door informing visitors of the situation on the night..
Any questions please ask.
Thanks
Charles

Thanks as always Charles :)

I wonder if post match was one of the benefits the Mariners advertised this year to become a member....

I think its very bad form by the CCMFC for not putting in the effort at these anymore. And even when they did, the players hardly gave a flying f**k, more interested in seeing their gf's and getting the hell out of there. Bad form

Covered themselves well by saying entry to mariners functions lol

It's the kids I feel sorry for, about a dozen of them were waiting out the front of the Bowling club hoping to see their hero's for a brief moment and get their autograph, but they got nothing.

It's a shame but it's the clubs call what they want to do.

Thanks Charles and CCLC for opening at all because they certainly don't have to, from a fan's perspective it's great to go in there and discuss the game with your mates, plus wait for the traffic to bugger off!

Why is there very little chance of the players managing to make it?

Thats pretty upsetting. I forked out Adult rates (when I am a student) to purchase a membership with the hopes of getting to one of these and meeting a few of the players and getting a picture and an autograph. Im guessing there will be no Mariners picnic as well, and the only functions to be held are the "Bye-Bye Bozza" 100 buck per ticket entry functions.

Im wondering if the players couldnt be bothered or is this a backlash of the shit they have been copping off us on this forum?

1. If they can't handle criticism from their supporters, maybe they should consider a changing occupations

2. If the Mariners have officially organised post match with CCLC, then I would assume it's apart of the players job description to turn up.  What attitude the players themselves decide to bring, is up to them I guess.  Maybe the mariners aren't organising post match with CCLC and it has nothing to do with the players??

Hate to say this...but I feel it has to be said.
Are the Mariners becoming less engaging of the community they originally worked so hard to get the support of?

Has there been a change of policy from the Mariners club and the amount of access to the players?

Becoming more like a season ticket than an actual membership, really.

I hope not....it would be terrible to see the club move away from the community.

If it's a matter of the players being too tired after a match to attend post match functions why not have a pre-match function the morning/afternoon of the game? It would get more of the younger fans in since most post matches are past their bedtime and it would also help get people in the area earlier and watching youth matches.
