ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Another week loom... late Sunday kick off well 5:00

The Pith are stating to show some form...

My radical idea for the team..

Reddy

Storm.... Steady Eddie ... Ands ... Rose
..... Caceres .... Poscoliero..

Kim ....... MONTY .... Mane / Fitzy

... Duke..

Yep Monty as our 10 he can play back to goals will defend from the front and is not a poor passer... sorta like Macka was in the same role...

Kim has played most of his career as an outside mid,

Fingers crossed hope all the talk regarding infighting in the camp is wrong ...

Pith have a strong squad this year and maybe everyone under rated Kenny Lowe as a coach his record this year is good... tis going to be a tough game...

Ive seen most of their games this season and they are very interesting to watch, playing very direct football in a 442 diamond and scoring a lot of goals! pour old Rostyn cleaning up the mess for the rest of the midfield!

we will need to score goals to win, i have little faith for a clean sheet

re Kim, there were a few games last season when we were playing Fitzy on the left and Kim at 10, Fitzy and Kim rotated positions a bit mid game, Kim looked so much better with a tad more time and space… I'm fairly sure that he and simon combined on a counter for a goal while he was on the left.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! Obscure thread names for upcoming games drive me almost as crazy as any post by SydMariner.

Don't think so, but if by any remote chance the players enter the site and read this, they must be pissing themselves laughing. Monty in particular.

Couple of interesting comments here
1. "Mariners coach Phil Moss also confirmed that striker Matt Simon is back to full fitness after his unique pre-season. Simon missed some training time after the birth of his first child while he was holidaying in Hawaii."

2. Eddie Boznar says: "The errors we’ve had aren’t as a result of problems with our shape or organisation; we are just not being hungry enough to defend our goal...It’s a process we’re going through, it worked with Adelaide last year and I’m confident it’ll work with us...We need to start putting our bodies on the line more and I think one good 2-0 or 3-0 win will get us going. There’s no problems in the group at all and the coaching staff are working hard."
&
3. "goalkeeper Liam Reddy is a chance to return from injury on Sunday"

this is the first of the 5 game in a fortnight mariner-thon!

We will see a lot of squad rotation and fringe players get opportunities so we can have more arguments about the best players for a starting 11!

Wouldn't expect to see Anderson back this week. Expecting us to get done and it won't be pretty

Why is that?... It was mentioned on 442 that he may have had exams or something, rather than disagreement in the squad... Dunno whether there's aything to it but it certainly sounds reasonable enough.

Joke so far. Let's see if it gets any funnier.
