Our set up was horrible with a 5 man midfield that rarely broke out of its own half and left Matty completely isolated again.

Gutless Football that deserved to be beaten by the last placed team.

Perth clearly deserved that one. We were as ordinary as the ref tonight. Play like that against Brisbane next week and we could finish 6th.

To salvage something from the weekend, hoping for a Smurf FC win tomorrow to make the Bogan Scum's chance of qualifying for the finals very hard.

Storm 7.5. Great at times but defensively suspect. When they teach him the basics and he gets it he will become a world beater .
Rose 6.5. Dropped a level tonight.
Ando 5. More IGA than Sainsbury.
Bosnar 6.5. Looked slow but did read the game ok.
Sterjovski 7. Showed quality at times.
Hutcho 7. Not the worst.
Caceras 6. Bad haircut and a bad game.
Fitz 6. Best work rate of anyone in the team but gets the little things wrong,
Kim 7. Good passer, Intelligent Footballer.
Simon 6.5. Let down by his team mates again tonight.

Mossy 4. Got nothing right tonight.

Ref 2. Gave us a lot of fouls but still mugged us......typical clueless HAL ref!

Clearly not our best performance but I'd say there was a case to say we were ordinary because of the ref. First penalty if anything was a foul against Hutch. If that penalty wasn't given then no yellow for Hutch. If that doesn't happen and our penalty stands it's a different game.

Soon into the game we had three yellows against us with hardly any fouls against us and we were afraid to make tackles. Well into the second half the the foul count was 16 - 7 against Perth but we has 3 yellows to none. McGarry and Thwaite were consistent foulers but were allows getting a 'last warning'. The penalty when Kim went down was soft - but a foul was committed.

Anderson's own goal was allowed to stand when the offside player caused him to stretch for the ball and yet Bernie's goal was disallowed because Storm who was not involved with play was offside.
