ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I’d like to see..

Bk
Millar Oniel Aspro Clisby
melling Jem
Connor hoole(shudder) oar
Murray

Not sure if Jem is announced tomorrow If he can slot straight in as we’re seriously thin on numbers. Alternatively we bring back golec or Cisse and push Oniel back into CDM.

Thoughts??
Wouldn’t be putting a bloke straight off a plane on to start but if we did have to them he could maybe go 45 and then 45 for Tom

The only reason for picking Hoole now would be if we only had 10 fit players and need him to make up the numbers. If this is the case play him at the front with instructions to kick the ball into the net and do not try anything else. But make sure he knows which way we are running.
Better telling him we are running the opposite way. Then his instinct to go backwards will be to out benefit.

It's gonna be tough. Personally if I were the manager I wouldnt have trained them aside from some recovery and physio and a bit of a kick around to get the legs moving and to do some basic triangle play.
Lots of video work and community engagement....
So on the back of 3 days rest you could get Pain and Millar on, but not Tommy H.
It'll be the same going into the weekend match too.
4 games in like 11 days? They do it in Europe, we can manage a short period.
The FFA should during this period increase to a 7 man bench but make those spots U23 players. Seems a smart thing to do...

Imagine if we had players on Aus NT duty as well.

Such poor scheduling by the FFA as usual.

Nisbet and Kekeris both in the squad for tomorrow night. Oar, Simon, McGing and Shabow all out. Hiariej in doubt with injury - didn't pull up well after training.

Which one do you think is ready to make the step up to first team. I've seen more of Nisbet and rate him really highly but not sure how he has been going in training.

Word on here was Golec is injured, so why not list him as unavailable?
No Cisse, if we're not going to call him up now when we lose a defender then just release the guy already.

Things are looking really sparse at the back, presumably this means O'Neill will be staying there a bit longer and Clisby remains our only defensive sub. With Hiariej not likely to start we could have really used him with Melling.Maybe Clisby starts and he pushes into DM but then we have no defensive subs.
