Staj has to change the shape. He’s done the 3 CB and 4 in midfield to try congest but Ufuk has got his midfielders pulling our boys well out and Ball is basically a false 9, that’s how he’s winning so many fouls. Because the boys aren’t quick enough or just simply get lost and then arrive late.
Push Kim into midfield and I’d say we’ll get a massive foothold. And that threat would be null.
Ironically this was probably a game to use Tommy at LB because the Nix don’t use a right winger.

I think it was Mick who said next year will be another year of rebuilding. I thought that was going to be obvious since the start of this season. Mainly moving on a couple of expensive players (McGlinchey and Simon) plus some others that may not have been so expensive but are a waste of space.

I was concerned That we have not been re-signing players however after recent performances I think there may be more who need to go.

I think we’re a bit of a mess out here tbh,
but we only have one true wide player (though miller is killing it so maybe it’s two) but that imbalance and not holding the ball up centrally. Nisbet for GG is essential imo and we’d get a foot hold.
