I think it’s unfair Melling was playing well tonight. Playing in unfamiliar position with only 10 men. I’m not a fan of Melling but I don’t think he deserves criticism tonight

Melling was solely responsible for 3 of their goals by letting his man get away from him. Melling is trying to compete with Cisse for who is most responsible for this drubbing.

Cisse didn’t just put us down a man. He destroyed our tactic, impetus and game plan. Ref is partly culpable.

Mulvey made good changes leading in and we showed some promise. Though I thought Sydney were poor.

So not going to criticise Mulvey on this performance, Tom on earlier perhaps, but there you go.

We need a top drawer CB, Keeper and Ten.

Insert those 3 players into the side, with Tom and Oar and we ‘should’ make progress.

I actually think we played well enough until the heads went down....except I thought his subs were terrible, had the complete wrong strategy there.

Simon should have been replaced the minute cisse was sent to try to keep our initial shape .just my opinion

I know you won't agree with this but referees always go with the favourites.

This is the problem with the new VAR interpretation by David Gallop. If that was our forward being tackled there would have been no foul. The VAR would have looked at it and agreed. Because it was us the foul is awarded and under the new David Gallop directive to not re-referee the game the foul stands. All the directive has done is to reinforce the bias towards favourites.

We were clearly good for the first 45. To have held the lead to halftime after what Cisse did.

Also he didn't blame the ref for Cisse - he asked for consistency after Brosque did a similar thing that Cisse did and didn't get pinged for.
