ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Ticketek's currently showing 4 assigned away bays down the bottom (29-32), although the bays above (51-54) that are usually GA are marked out as if they could be assigned if required.
Looks like they've been listed for "non-active" away supporters.

All of the Wanderers supporters are active.
I really think we should have had a few more pre-season games at Bluetongue to enable our active support to carry on the great work they did last season engaging the rest of the crowd.

Aye, the efforts at the ACL matches were top stuff.

Trying to pick what would be my starting 11 is doing my head in. GK is a straight out battle with JP and Reddy. Back four is easy enough( Storm,Seip, Trent,Rosey).
Where it gets tough is picking the midfield and striker out of Hutch,Monty,Caceres,Fitzy,Dukey,Matty,Wee Mac,Flores and Mile. That's 9 players who would walk into most other teams and 3 of them won't get a starting place. And we are still missing another striker (Danny, or whoever replaces him)and Kwassie might start to come into the mix at some stage.

Of those 9, what a sweet bench Mile, Super sub Dukey and Caceres would make. Bring on October 12 I can't wait. Back to back is not impossible.

I'd go with:

Pasfield
Roux, Anderson, Sainsbury, Rose
Hutch Monty
Weemac Flores Fitz
Simon

Damn hard to leave Duke out. I'd want to start Monty over Anthony Caceres because I reckon Monty will be better at winning the ball against a tougher competition.

No arguements from me there Muppet, Pasfield or Reddy I would have been happy with and Mile or Fitzy, i'd have been happy with either but I certainly like the look of the team you've chosen. Bring it on.

That would be my side exactly. Personally i would go for Monty over Hutch (tough choice) but as Hutch is still skipper then that won't happen.

Fitzy seems like he is raring to go, I'll find it hard as hell not to start him if I was in Arnie's shoes. Start Simon, sub Duke on if we are getting in need of a goal or if a bloke looks tired. Hutch and Monty will be invaluable for winning the ball and controlling the midfield, but I think Anthony should definitely get the nod for matches against weaker sides where the Mariners will be able to dictate the pace better.

I don't mind who starts; whatever the line-up it has the pre-season feel of invincible euphoria about it. And I love it!
