Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

1 - 0 to Mariners.

Matt Simon lobs Pitchford with a great first time finish.

Moments later a Kwasnik one-on-one is saved by Pitchford with his feet.

McBreen thwarted by Pitchford diving at his feet.

Wilkinson very solid all night. Looks composed.

Again, McBreen lobs keeper after a great first touch, but it goes just wide.

Ranged effort from Porter or Bojic(source not too savvy with the players), but didn't catch it cleanly. Sails well wide.

Kwasnik heads in a cross from McBreen for 3-0.

Full time is called moments later.

Always shines when he needs to impress and fails when he is expected to sign, classic reverse-confidence player!

Ok back from the match, Great turn out with well over a 1000 there.
Perez = believe the hype
Mrdja, lewis and nash were pish.
The third goal was magic, simon hits a 30 yard ball over the defence where mcbreen knocks it back first time to the penalty spot and kwasnik heads home. Was beautiful to watch.

Felt devastated for Scott of Tasmania who is a mariners fan down here like myself and had his shot cleared off the line.

Yeah, my mate said that Perez just looked amazing with the ball at his feet. Described him as a class above, easily best player on the park. I am looking forward to this season SO much.

Just come back from Game, good effort by Tas and congrats to Mariners for taking the time to stay in Tas and support local game.  I have been an unoffical Victory fan, but if central coast suppor the state and try and move to play a full a-league fixture here in Tas, I will buy membership and become a full on CCMFC fan.  enjoyed the way they played too.

Spoke to Arnold tonight and he was full of praise for the local Tas scene and would love to build on a tassie relationship.

1800 there tonight, paying customers, many more if you take into account noone under 13 paid or is counted in those figures.  Great turn out and shows Tas can support football.

Well done mariners, Im on board, off to bye a shirt now.!  BANG.

Wow, I hope our midfield looks nothing like that Midfielder.  :vomit:

VERY pleased to read these reports about Perez.

Video interview with GA says they will be focusing on the attacking shape now...  :ashamed:

So going from the report of the last goal scored, in the end we had Simon, Mcbreen and Kwas on at the same time?? Was it a 433??

a good video.....some good play from midfield with lots of scoring chances up front.  I thought Ryan looked a bit shakey in goals though.

From all the reports I have heard from my friends who went to see the match, a Tassie team in the A-league would have no problem with support.

If we have under 13s in for free like the mariners are offering this year, we'll have no problems. Still need a proper ground and a millionaire owner.
