ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Try these:

Best Western Gosford Motor Inn  02 4323 1333

Hotel Formule 1 Gosford 02 4325 7692

I haven't stayed at either, but they're both walking distance to the stadium and should be at the cheap end of the scale.

Theres also:

Gosford Palms Motor Inn 4323 1211 which is even closer but check the price 'cos they're 4 star.

Or maybe the pub is your thing. Its in the middle of Gosford CBD and is closer than the others. Again, no idea what its like as I've never stayed there.

i know some of the melbourne lads stayed there on NYE the year before last, and were hanging out the window singing 'we are top of the league' when i was coming down from the station.

Phew.

My wife landed the bombshell on me this morning that she definitely didn't want to drive back to Sydney on Saturday night, especially if I was drunk and we had won (it was a fleeting hope that she would be happy to drive in the dark with two drunken fools for 1.5 hours, oops).

Soanywayheresthestory.

I think I called every single accommodation establishment in Gosford & Woy Woy today. Everything booked. I now I have to stay in Wamberal, which I hope isn't as feral as it sounds.

Wamberal is near Terrigal and most accommodation is overlooking the water couldnt think of many better places to stay on the Coast.
Not a long walk either from the pub at Terrigal or Crowne otherwise about a $20 cab ride from Gosford. Its better than staying in Gosford especially with predicted 33 degrees on sat you could go to beach before the game another highlight of the Central Coast

Guns, don't listen to bulldog...... he's trying to make you _think_ that you're staying in some sort of Coastal paradise.  Don't fall for it.

I don't imagine anywhere in NSW is anything close to a paradise. I'm only mildly worried.

Exactly right you might even be converted after seeing how good it is up here. Best stadium! Best Location! Best Football team in the land!

Wamby is my beach of choice and compared to Gosford itself is another world.

Over and above anything else, I'm just so happy that my ignorance is such a joy for you all.

Have arrived in Sydney. Truly the worst city on earth... and I've been to Mongolia.
