Forums are sometimes used for an open debate about difficult issues and sometimes to create some through..

This is my 3, 000 post small by many on this forum but by my standards huge But I would like to open some discussion on some thoughts I have had lately.

Like many I have studied and looked at our club what it needs for the future So this thread is about our two heads and money.

IMO LM is being tested as a coach does he have any more to offer could someone else do a better job if so what kinda of criteria do we set for a new coach do we have the money to pay him out and appoint a new coach given it is said FFA are propping us up

The other head Lyle Gorman, all praise for the COE and for the way he handled Danny after the grand final send off.. But our crowds are down we sold Jedi without a replacement and got smashed in Asia Is the CEO in charge of promotion what have we got Marvin and a change in radio stations

LM if he has proved anything is a proven promoter of our club he is well known, speaks well and is a football man through and through.. He is also popular with the media and locals Knows and understands football and where football is in  Australian now and in the past.. 

LG is much more a back room player, planner and does not have LMs ease with the media

Given all this here are my thoughts I do not want to loose LM but I am starting to question his coaching ability especially going forward (hopefully we will reverse our current slump and go on and win the title and he will prove me wrong) LG in doing what he has done at the COE is a genius

So appoint LG to manage the COE, appoint LM as the Football Clubs manager and look for a new coach after establishing what and where we want the coach to do All this assuming money allows

Am pretty sure this will be lawries last season in his current role, unless he masterminds a great comeback. Even then it may be. Im sure they have a plan for a new coach to freshen things up.

Could be worse than either, a lot (lot) worse.

preparing myself to somehow accept the fact that it may be f**king ARNOLDOUT in charge of my team. This process include many hours of ice baths to thicken the skin and 48 hour long viewings of question time re-runs to heighten sensitivity to excitment.

Are you kidding me? I know I'm predisposed to watching QT but I'd rather watch Wayne Swan reading pages of economic statistics for two hours than watch a Graham Arnold coached side.
