ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Whilst it would be fantastic to see them bottom, it cant happen with Perth and the Nux in the comp.

As long as they are at least 1 place lower than us, thats all we need

that happened last season and it wasn't all we needed

It does if you view the post season cup as meaningless

sadly i wish it was true

you cannot honestly tell me that the grand final loss didn't hurt and that the joy of winning the premiership was more than the hurt of losing the grand final

The GF loss cut me deeper than i first thought it did.
The premiers are always forgotten, and the team that wins the biggest game of the year is remembered for a long time.

It's a bit like V8 supercars, some people could probably tell you the Bathurst winners of the past 20 years, while those same people will struggle to tell you all the championship winners.

Newcastle for Wooden Spoon looks good ;)

it does!

er no

their weakest side drew against welly's strongest side

add perth to the mix and you are throwing away your money

yea but their the jets

yes they're the jets

but it is your money

Should have listened Mick :p

i didn't predict that their decline would be so rapid

they had a very decent side on paper but self-destructed

By all unwritten football law about club stability, dressing room atmosphere, off-field harmony, etc, the jets 'should' have come close to last in 07/08. That they had a freak year and won the Championship instead made them unpredictable for this season.

Reading through this thread I had to laugh at the way people were all 'no way will the jets be last with the Nix and Glory in the comp"

Jets are last, and the Nix and Perth are mathematically still in with a chance of the 4.
