ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Remember people, this kid was playing park football 2years ago.

4 goals, 5 games so far this season and Musc**t was given the job of marking him tonight.

He made Moore look an idiot and scored 2 against Musc**t.

Matty - you are a class act and well done

I had my doubts last year, but the Foxtel summary of him is spot on: http://www.foxsports.com.au/story/0,8659,24377729-23215,00.html

My player of the match.

very good performance from him i remember last season we would always curse at him when he always missed sitters, but now he's a legend.

He hasnt had a chance to miss sitters yet this season. That's whats great from a Mariners perspective he is putting away quality goals and he is working so hard to create these opportunities for himself... Well done MS

Also love how Matty is like a bull terrier; never gives up and NEVER dives. Fair dinkum, the guy battles to stay on his feet and attack the ball and he lets the ref make the decision on the foul. If only all players played like that it would be even more of a man's game!

I made it quite a point last year to tell everyone I spoke to that this guy is having to live in the shadow of that fark wit Alo$i.

I am so glad we pissed him off and now finally have a striker that actually will go in looking for the ball. (Shame it took the management team so long to get and keep you on the park)

Matty - Heaps impressed and wish you continued success. All the best mate !!

our first goal last night was class. 11 passes, finished by a beautiful cross (lightning strikes! porter to simon, simon scores - we're going to hear a bit of that over coming years!) and then matty does great work to beat his man and finish coolly under theoklitos.

the second he just rises and pounds his header - it would have been clearly under had it not taken a small deflection, but he scored anyway.

super play, he's busting his arse and getting results. i'd rather have him than aloisi or griffiths right about now.

Without doubt the form striker of the league ........... and someone who can play with his back to goal and pass back ......something mising in the Socceroos aside from Dukes ....... I think our Matty has a good career ahead of him.

So true. Well said. Juniors take note. This is how to play the game.

How hard will it be for Nik to get back in. Will they resort to rotation between Dylan, Sash and Nik while constantly playing Matty?

Interesting that Matty changed from number 2 to number 19 this year, our previous number 19 was of course the Mariners all time leading scorer!  Perhaps 19 is the lucky number for scoring when people percieve you as shit

I have to say
that Kwassie used to be the best unco player in HAL
now Simon is!
No offence to Simon- I love the guy, even from days as No.2. but still has that unco feeling (the good old Kwassie feeling)
