ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Nik in for Dylan

After the FFA match review decision (Don't start me) our forward line looks now very likley to be

Sash & Nik up front.

Lets hope they defend from the front as well as Dylan & Matty always seem to do.

We will need to be "ON" all over the field if we are to get away with this one.

Especially in the first 10 minutes where we have looked vulnerable in the last couple of games.

Will Nik get 90 minutes if not then we need to start with Adrian and Sash up front with Hutch in behind. Then Nik can come on in the 2nd half against a tired defense and hopefully score the winner.

. i was wondering when someone was going to suggest caceres to start up front ... i would think this to be the most likely (not necessarily preferred, but likely)

Surely Nik is good for >45min, therefore must start. Only reshuffle the mids when/if he tires and needs to be subbed. ...IMO

Fame is fickel .. at the start of Hal 3 the A-league was in awe of our strikers Nik & Sash ... Nik gets called into the Socceroos goes for a wild kick and farks up his knee.. In come Matty and DM ... If fit Nik is a deadly striker have not doubt about his quality.

I dont want to see adrian up front. He is not a striker and it is a waste to have him up there in the mould of tommy p when played there.

Lets not forget, Nik is due a hattrick!

So we return to the Sash & Nik show as I thought.

Congratulations to Nik first start in a long time, since Socceroo debut.

The heat is on, not just for Perth Glory but for a spot in the Mariners forward line running up to the finals.

This can only spell danger for oppositionn defensive units in the months to come.

Every one of our strikers (Nik with 2 in NYL) is in form.

If our defence can start tightening the screws on our often leaky defence we are looking the goods to challenge once again for the premiership.

So tonight, in front of a big crowd we start the run in.

Fire up guys............See you at the game :eek:verhead:
