ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

only 1 sub to be made so the others can be dropped back to youth on the weekend since we need to include 4 OA players apparently ;)

Wow doesn't fill u with too much confidence looking at that team but we are due a half decent performance so fingers crossed.

Is Doig contracted or pay-as-you-play? Time to bring back Michael Beauchamp as an injury replacement  ;)

Or time to promote Sherlock...? Doubt it though.

I'd also probably more incline to promote Lewis and drop Hutch into the DM, Crowell to the bench. Agree with Disco getting the start.

I'd give Sherlock a run.

Theres only one way to find out if he is good enough and that is to play him.

Agree that Porter Wilko Sherlock Clarkie doesnt fill me with confidence but thats all we have really.

good idea but doesnt he have to have a contract even if its short term ??? perhaps even give panni a run off the bench, its the perfect game to do so

Hutch plays his best in a more attacking role. Always has. Crowell is 3 times more a DM than Hutch and is a lot quicker to distribute the ball.

I like the formation but also would have Lewis in LB, Bojic in RB and Clarkie on the bench to cover all spots in the backline.

The boys trained at Mingara today and while everyone was on arm weights and machines, Doig was on the leg curler, so I can only assume he's done that leg injury no good this week. Wonder if he'll play again this season...

Hard job for Lawrie this week.
4 losses, savaged defence, unsettled strike partnership, facing arguably one of our recent bogey teams who are equal with MV for the team with the least defeats this season....

Be a tremendous result if the team can pull out three points imo.

Will be watching from a 'net cafe in Frogland - both teams can't not concede atm, so I'm gonna go with 3-2 to us. ;D

Note also they're the bogey team for our strikers - no goals against them for almost two years.
Perhaps we should select everyone who's scored this season (including the ladies :) ) and put them all in the forward line - maybe even an old-fashoined 2-3-5! Couldn't be any worse than lately.
