Treating people like shit and then expecting them to keep stumping up money is not a sustainable business model IMHO

Thats why I am so opposed to the tax system lol

because lawrie did not select dylan every game of course!

I doubt fruit for all is complaining. Hell i even remember sure optical purely from dylan being on the bench. It may not have the bang of a 15 goal hero, but it still gets brand recognition for those who are there

I don't know about other sponsors but Sure Optical were telling me that they had a lot of broken promises. Nothing was communicated to them.

For instance, as part of their package they were meant to receive a signed shirt for the beginning of the season. She received it after the season had ended

I know she gave me other examples, but, I can't remember them now

If sure optical's player isn't getting game time week in week out then switch them to another player who is and isn't already sponsored. It doesn't really matter which player they sponsor as long as their business is getting mentioned at each game. thus making it worthwhile being a sponsor.

I wonder if they got to choose which player they wanted to sponsor?

Fair enough getting pissed off about not getting things you were promised, but this....

Surely you would know there is a possibility the player you sponsored won't play every week, if at all (*cough* disco *cough*) and if there is no "Plan B" as you have suggested above, then that's the way it is...

Maybe there should be alternative arrangements for when your sponsored player isn't playing... and maybe there are??... but surely they know what they are paying for and can't expect anything over/above that.

Perhaps when they complained, they were told like Brennan, to F off? My story of dissatisfied sponsors includes one who said the the Mariners office was very rude...but it doesn't mean I am joining the same dots.

There is def two current sponsors who have increased their partnership, two new major partners and negotiations with another BIG company to become the principal partner.

Any news on the negotiations with BIG company? and are the 2 new majors still a done deal?

Mariners and Primo Smallgoods forge partnership

The Central Coast Mariners future off the field has received a major boost, with industry giant Primo Smallgoods signing on as a major partner of the club for the next three seasons.

As part of the new relationship, Primo Smallgoods will feature on the back of the Mariners home and away playing shirts until the end of the Hyundai A-League 2012/13 season.

The deal is the result of months of hard work by both Mariners Executive Chairman Lyall Gorman and Managing Director of Primo Smallgoods, Paul Lederer.

I am delighted to welcome Primo to the Mariners family, said Gorman.

Paul and Primo Smallgoods have been strong supporters of football in this country for many years, and together, I am confident our brands can work together for each other.

The club is very much looking forward to a positive future with Primo Smallgoods.

Primo Smallgoods is the largest producer of ham, bacon and smallgoods in Australia. From the humble beginnings of a small factory employing 38 staff in 1985, the family owned and operated company has gone on to become a household name nationally, employing over 2,000 staff.

Primo Smallgoods is very excited about linking with the Mariners. Both brands share similar beliefs and objectives. Primo remains a family run business, and, like the Mariners, is passionate about loyalty and its community, whilst also setting goals to be market leaders and globally recognizable, said Mr. Lederer.

The two brands are a fantastic fit, and Im sure were all looking forward to a successful future together.
