ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

The 2012/13 squad has been announced:
Louis Bozanic, David Bradasevic (Gk), Daniel Bragg, Tommy Cirjak, Jordan Crighton, Patrick Dixon, Josh Forbes, Adam Jenner, Hayden Morton, Mickey Neill, Kieren Paull, Aaron Peterson, Nikola Stanojevic, Luke Turnbull (Gk), Dillon Vorster, Steve White
McLafferty replaces Walmsley as coach,
- has any one any insights into the quality of this year's group and who is likely to make the grade to the first team in the next season or two?

It is a young side

Louis Bozanic, David Bradasevic, Daniel Bragg, Nikola Stanojevic, and Adam Jenner are all possibles for early progress and have NSWPL or A-League (Bragg) experience.

Hayden Morton is talked about in glowing terms - I haven't seen him.

Great move to appoint McLafferty as head coach (some some he was what made the difference previously anyway).

Anyone know the background of Travis Cooper who is now with VVV Venlo in Holland? Formerly of CCM Youth I believe. Or anything on him...

Thought the game was on Sunday not Saturday Kevrenor??

Anyways am planning on going to the game to watch our Yoofs take on your Yoofs.

Can someone enlighten me as to where the CCM Centre of Excellence is at. Internet searches have proved a little fruitless

Appreciate an honest reply rather than directions to Long Jetty pier or Mangrove Mountain or somewhere else on the Coast!!!

Sorry, my typo - fixed.

CoE is at 1 Bryant Drive as Adz said. Behind Soccer 5s behind Club Tuggerah on the east side as you enter north from the round-about on Wyong Rd/Cobbs Rd. Bryant Drive is the one leading to the Super Centres and the eastern side of Tuggerah Station.

38 degrees! Wow. I'll be surprised if we see more than 10 minutes out of the thin white Duke tonight... he must be drained.

A nine man mariners beat Adelaide United 2-1.pelligrino was dismissed early in the first half however the Mariners took control and the lead at the half was 2-0.
Morton was dismissed in he second half for a rugby tackle as a last man. Adelaide scores from a keeper mistake as he tries to sweep and AU shoot into an empty net.
A very good performance by the Mariners with Macdonald showing Pedj like fitness being very busy.

MacDonald off contract this year? Seems to always impress but I don't think he has played A League for us for last two years?

I thought he was signed as a left back so it must be a bit of a worry for him that Arnie has named Neil as Rose's heir in a couple of years:

http://www.footballaustralia.com.au...--Neill-rewarded-with-twoyear-contracts/58920

Central Coast Mariners Head Coach Graham Arnold said Morton and Neill are two players who deserve their chance as fully-fledged professionals.
“Hayden is an under 20 international with the Young Socceroos and has had one appearance with us already. He’s fitted into the group real well, and we’re expecting big things off him,” Arnold said.
“Micky Neill, he’s a left footer, a young Josh Rose. Both have been given two-year contracts to give them time to develop and hopefully by the time Josh Rose retires Micky Neill will be ready.”
