Poor goal to concede and can’t be good for the boys’ confidence after looking like we might just hang on for the W.
If you’d have offered me a point at the start of the night, I’d have shaken your hand off - Penshurst is a tough place to play and we don’t have a good record against the saints… but it still stings.
Hopefully King Kuzzy back next week and Tappy is targeting a return in the next month too.
20’s are sitting nicely in 4th place.

Spoke to Kuzzy this morning just by chance and he said as much re Saturday.. was gutted for the boys last night. 100% agree re the point at the beginning.. would take 1 now if offered against Olympic ? but heartbreaking to drop 2 at the end.

That was a good game. Ref was useless. But I did think we were the better team and seem to be improving every week.

Tonight was definitely an improvement in our play so far this season but the boys still need to learn how hold leads if they want to start winning games.

Olympic were no mugs and it was a high intensity contest that was worth staying on for.
