I was just reading this thread and felt it my duty as a Mariners fan to pen the following letter....
Dear Mr Lyall Gorman,
I am but one person amongst the entourage of loyal Central Coast Mariners supporters who willingly pay membership fees to come and watch the spectacle of our great game. I feel without compunction that you, Lawrie McKinna, and the rest of the Mariners administration perform your duties to the highest possible standard. However, it has come to my attention that you may be bereft of the best available talent scout ever known to the game of football; and all this time he has been sitting within our own ranks. I refer to one WILSON, who unbeknown to the broader Mariners support base due to his relative anonymity, has the ability to judge the talent of any given player and his worth, without question. I can only recommend that you schedule some time to meet with WILSON in person and devise a plan as to how best he can be immediately engaged to strengthen what is already undoubtably a superior team.
