ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Settlers is a great pub. Downside is no pints, but they would at least serve in glass instead of plastic cups ???, which is a huge positive over CCLC.

Expat alert - MCE will organise a city meetup. May do the Nags Head or other inner city venue. Keep eyes peeled.

Merged threads because we had 2 Melb ones going. I would rather eat Mick's vomit than get a 6am flight.

I guess we are hitting the Royal Melbourne up pre-game?

What will the Settlers do for us?

Anything is better than the awful sports bar

Agree with the whole plastic cup thing..... Give them a call.

I believe, The plastic cups on CCLC is imposed on them by govt i believe due to popping up in the top 50 for violence last year, equal with beachcomber. Ofcourse a bit harsh considering the size of the venue compared to some lower. I wonder if this will change if they drop out of the list this year?

We can help them out then. No soccer hooligans = no violence? Although I think glassing is an NRL tradition.

Think it was more of a "red" tradition, hence it gettlosed down, but recently taken up by league all over the state

I wonder whether much will be happening at Club Tuggerah, the future home of the Mariners Centre of Excellence. I might head over there and find out. Its only a few km from home so I can stagger home or catch the booze bus. I think they've got a decent size plasma; better check it out before game day - perhaps this weekend. Not like I've ever needed much of an excuse to head to the pub and have a couple of beers.

Club Tuggerah fails at the moment. Its old, its full of old people who look like ursus ;) and they only care about dancing and tennis

Still CCLC ftw imo

I think I'll be cracking open a cold one or 7 from the sofa, it was dead enough in the CCLC on Friday a couple of weeks ago - never mind a Thursday night

Probably the wrong thread but yesterday at the Bowls made me think.

If we have a game with an evening KO, the bowls club is empty.

Why not make it a "members" bar or something for pre game drinkies? I am not just talking about Marinators, I meant CCM members generally?

The Marinators Club exec is one step ahead of you.

Hopefully something can be arranged for post-game because it is a great venue and people tend to disperse to different locations in the main club after the game.
