ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

You guys are so lucky to have wee mac. I'm a Phoenix fan and watched Bahrain Allwhites game this morn. When he came on we looked amazing.

Just don't get him injured please

I know nothing about the Scottish national team and I know its early days for him but does anyone else think he may have sold himself a little short committing to the NZ team so early.

Not really - at least for NZ he has a chance of getting to the World Cup

Typical English comment.

Difference between Scotland and England is all Scots never have high expectations and any win is a celebration. On the other hand the English always thinks they are going to win the world cup. They are the only nation in the world that gets surpised when they are always beaten in a penalty shoot out.  :p

Tosser  :p

But on the subject of Wee Mac me and TB were discussing at HT yesterday the chances of us keeping him beyond this season.Don't reckon we've got much hope unless........marquee ?

Since we never seem to go for the big money type we could give the wee man decent dough outwith the cap.

Just thinking aloud.

hey if we cant afford a full fledged yorke/aloisi (in form)/fowler style marquee then why not spend it on a player that becomes too good for us (eg. Jedinak, weemac).
Only issue is that he will want to go on to bigger things not just bigger $$$$
That's normally what players of his age would want, but then again he did settle for NZ :p

If he keeps playing the way he has been he'll go sooner or later but we might get another year out of him by making him the marquee assuming as you say we didn't have plans for someone bigger and more expensive.

Not sure what Aloisi is going to do. He is probably worth about 120-200K a year instead of the reported 1.2mill he's getting now.
He might retire.
He's better than Kwas/D-Mac and Disco....but only just.
