ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

His nickname is weeMac. Why change it?

We where thinking weeMac does do him justice ... he was the master in charge of the midfield last week and as each week goes bye if he keeps it up ... Little Master ... seemed to better to us...

Thugby-ites will waste no time in claiming you've stolen their nick for Clive Churchill (or was it Dally Messenger?) if you use Little Master. The Special One is far too pretentious. Wee Mac is my preference, or maybe just "Magic".

I think the "wee" part of his nickname pays homage to Lawrie who first referred to him as wee McGlinchy. I like nicknames that have a bit of story attached to them, ones that were started organically - not ones that have been contrived because they sound "cool". That's my opinion.

You can't just change someones nickname. That's just silly.

Yes, they can earn another nickname over time. But change it for the sake of changing it no.

As bear says end of.

Lawrie called McGlinchey "Wee Man" at the strip presentation up at Tuggerah Westfield. This forum started calling him "Little Mac" (amongst other things). It kind of evolved into Wee Mac. Don't see the problem with it; Wee Man (the one of Jackass) is one of the toughest buggers around. Wee Mac combines this with his name; perfect in my opinion.

Yeh MF, your keyboard is a bit inebriated by the looks.

Drunk posting in the afternoon ?

Unfair ....Had a BBQ yesterday with a few mates ... many things happened;- I showed for instant how to drop your left shoulder and do a step over to open up the defense, then lay a sublime ball to a striker in front of their feet with the correct weight on the ball .. and I did a great job...

Now we had the odd orange juice and we talked of many things and one near the top was wee Mac entitled to a better nick name ... I said I would seek the advise of the honourable gentlemen and honourable  Ladies of the Mariners forum... which I have ... I can see the answer is no .. nay I am being screamed at NO ....

I will relay this information on at the next BBQ ...

But Arab Drunk Posting on Monday afternoon .. never its all work and heave Ho on Mondays ..... I have taken no one to lunch today .. do not need any change orders done .. or advice from a tax official... so no excuse to have a lunch time business meeting... err ... not that I would ever drink at those lunch time business meetings...

Bahrain 0 NZ All Whites 0 - It was Michael McGlinchey, though, who made the biggest impact. The Wellington-born former Scottish youth international looked lively when he came on for Tim Brown in the 67th minute. He played in Wood for the disallowed goal and also set up Killen for a difficult volley that went narrowly wide...
