ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

"Korea gamble pays off
Robert Cornthwaite and Matt Simon left the A-League to test themselves in Korean football with Chunnam Dragons and are thoroughly enjoying the change in scenery."

Just read after again being left out of match day squads, he has a repeating groin strain that is being incorrectly diagnosed.
Really hope it's not OP.

So let me get this straight, he trained his arse off, has had very little game time, only has one person to talk to over there and is now injured. Doesn't sound all that enjoyable to me...

Ummmmm !
Is the K League perceived to be a higher standard than A League?
I am a little confused after watching the video.....

My thoughts exactly. I figured in a non salary cap comp the standard must drop off pretty quickly after the top 6 or so sides.

Matt Simon is back in town, not sure whether there is break in the K League, or he's come back for a personal reason, or...?

Anyone know?

Matty's team Chunnam Dragons are scheduled to play a home match against Sangju Sangmu tommorrow. He was not even in the squad for the last match.

Injury? Out of favour? Homesick and looking to return? Many possibilities.
