Elsewhere, Central Coast Mariners have signed Welsh midfielder Matt Crowell until the end of the season to replace Adrian Caceres.

Hmmmm shocking player on FM08 but that means nothing.
I also think crowell is more to replace huke and Wolfe is replacing caceras in reality
lets hope he goes well.

From what I can glean he was Northwich Victoria's player of the year for 2008-9 in the Conference which is level 5 in England. He left to join Altrincham, also in the Conference, when Northwich became insolvent and was relegated. There are some decent players at that level -  Shane Smeltz came from the Conference (Mansfield Town). Hopefully he makes the same impact  verhead:

Met Matt last night at a corporate event, seemed like a great, genuine guy and seems to be finding his feet in the team fast... just needs a visa so he can play!
