Just like all states were approached to bid.He now claims all CEO's knew....
ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
Just like all states were approached to bid.He now claims all CEO's knew....
To be fair he did admit that only his mates in NSW government got that opportunityJust like all states were approached to bid.
I don’t know where I stand with walking out, I’ve never ever left a game early and there’s been some very dark days, but this weekend calls for it, prioritising casual fans over those who turn up home and away is just so insulting.Statement is up across socials. We’re in discussions around a potential walkout/relocation. Also in conversation with the cove RE their plans.
The idea that casuals will turn up for two out of state teams is laughable but financially this will have them better off than stadium goers would. To match 3 mil per game they'd need to be taking $60 each from 50k tickets, thats without ticketek fees, tax etc.. But some things are worth more than money and shouldnt be for sale.prioritising casual fans over those who turn up home and away
The latest Victory release makes it pretty clear their man voted for it but has resigned from the APL board due to the backlash.I'd be interested to find out how the Board comes to a decision on these key issues. I doubt the CEO is all- powerful. Surely each Club has a say now that they own/run the league.
So I wonder which Clubs agreed/disagreed. Can't see Melbourne/Adelaide/Perth/Brisbane Clubs supporting the idea unless it was a pure money grab, which leaves the NSW and Auckland Clubs.
I’m not sure if our say goes through Peil or MC but you can imagine MC would be all about the cash. Then again if we aren’t allowed to host why the hell wouldn’t you take the cash? Of all the teams other than Sydney & WSW we’ve got the most reason to be onboard.CCM are mute. As usual.
There’s an elephant in the room.I still think a GF at Gosford would be more important than the cash.
You've been talking to my cardiologist. There’s an elephant in the room.
That's the point mate. It's not gonna happen, and already could've happened and they took it off us.I still think a GF at Gosford would be more important than the cash.
Never give up.under the present set up we are never hosting the GF.
100%, we have been shafted so many times we just expect it now. Not so for teams like Victory, City, Adelaide, Roar, Glory who could hold the GF, bitter pill for them but welcome to the club. It's made the premiers race more interesting especially if it isn't a Sydney club.Looking from purely a Mariners viewpoint we should be all for it. $3 mill a year, guaranteed GF which will be a short trip away to attend and under the present set up we are never hosting the GF. Happens in the other major codes ie. League, AFL and now Netball.
yep, all CEOs knew ...except for all the CEO's , they knew jack shitHe now claims all CEO's knew....
