Where are you all staying??  A landmark near one of the more centralised stations (Tokyo, Shinagawa) might end up being a good idea.

Righto - we'll wait for their answers and figure something out from there.  If they're even remotely near you, then Tokyo station itself would be excellent - it has a distinctive entrance (old school clock tower) that is impossible to miss.

The closest train station to Todoroki Stadium is Shin Maruko station, on the Tokyu Toyoko line, which is about a 15 minute walk from the stadium. Exit the station using the west exit and walk north to the main road (the Nakahara Kaido). Turn left and follow Nakahara Kaido until it veers sharply to the left, next to a small temple. A narrower road leads off to the right, and the trees of Todoroki park are visible just down the road. Alternatively, from Musashi Nakahara station on the JR Nambu line, the main road outside the north exit is also Nakahara Kaido. Follow this road northwest, away from the station, until it crosses another main road (route 409), with a hospital at the intersection. Cross route 409 and turn left, continuing past Nakahara Elementary school until the main entrance to the park comes in sight, off to the right.

so which station would be the best option ???

I don't recommend where you meeting up at Tokyo Station If you never been Tokyo Station. It's ludicrously big and very starnge shaped, like maze for non Japanese speaking visitors.

How many CCM fans coming?

F*ck, it's on a different system to JR and Tokyo Metro.  It's one of the 'other' ones (there's about 7 different companies running trains in the city, it's mental)

Right, you've got two options.

i).  Catch the Tokyo Metro (the subway) on the HIBIYA (grey) line to Naka-meguro station, and change there to the Tokyu Toyoko line.  Shin Maruko is the 7th stop from there.

ii).  Get any service (subway or metro) to Shibuya Station, and change to the Tokyo Toyoko line.  Shin Maruko will be the 9th stop.

Which station to start at really does depend on where the others will be staying.  If they're all in similar directions to you Harry, then the subway-to-Nakameguro and go from there option will be best.

P.S.  If you want to borrow my Pasmo card (sort of a 'can use it on all forms of transport rechargable contactless card'), you're more than welcome too.  Save you a couple of hundred yen when you first get there and such.

ok, might be best to meet here, is it easy to find ???

the dubliners pub is probably a very good place to meet seeing everyone is a little scattered in tokyo. if we meet there and DRINK some, easy to hop on the train which leads to the station we need to get to for the game.

easy to get there at any specific time in the arvo and wait on anyone who gets lost (and some will)

Shinagawa station is accessible by both Ueno and Tokyo station

Should we all meet at Dubliner's Pub?

If that's what you guys run with, you can get a JR train from Shinagawa to Yokohama (as per that map above), then switch to the Tokyu Toyoko line and go back (as such) to Shin Maruko station.  ;D

Awesome!! Dubliners it is........... Thanks for the tip Fronta!!!!!!!!

i think anytime from 2pm onwards, how many people are coming to japan?????????
