That game did us real damage, Not only to Heff. THe NYE game will see as definitely without

Danny
Dean
Kwassy
Matty Osman
Nik

Viddy, Hutch, JA and Greg also look to be in some doubt and i don't know about Boogs. The Melbourne game will really stretch the the squads depth. 2 - 0 up and cruising to a loss and some nasty injuries. How a night can change so quickly.

Good news is Tommy and Mile looked great tonight and we will get at least two of the guys back for the Perth game.

To those Sydney "fans" (and some Marinators) who went to Daft Punk instead of this.

LOL at you people.  Worst. Decision. Ever.  And get a better taste in music whilst you're at it.

Vesh, if your happy with the way you won tonight.............. then the A-league is in trouble, if there are to many like you.

So F O back to hole you came from and never come back.

I was happy with the penalty decision, the Vukovic send off, saw mcflynn or some sydney player take down a Mariners player and thought that could be a yellow but ref waved play on and did think wtf ref, luckily no goal came from that play I wouldn't have been happy with that and I'm definately not happy with 10 men scoring 2 goals against us and playing just as well against us and almost beating us.

Tard fans last yr came to our forums happy about beating us when we had 10 men and happy with one of their players elbowing Milligan in the throat I don't wanna be like a Tard especially to Mariners who have been 1st all season we may have won tonight everyone knows the A-League title looks like it's going to the Coast this yr

It's not your happiness about beating CCM with 10 men (8 by the time Sydney FC actually won), it's the happiness about a man's broken leg that I find disgusting, happiness about a win is fair enough.

Well sorry I didn't mean to make it sound like Iwas happy that he broke his leg, more happy that karma got him back, but if it makes sense at all not happy that it was a broken leg though. I guess the way I said it in my 1st post made it sound like I was happy with that but definately not lol damn it I'm not a bad person!!!!!!

To me, if we have one weakness, it is our crossing and dead balls. We are poor at times in both of these departments. So many opportunities get wasted from poor balls.

I'll give credit to Sydney for this tonight. Every single cross in to the box and corner was dangerous and spot on the mark.

This was the best game of football I have ever seen, better than the Liverpool-Newcastle game when Stan the Man scored a VERY late winner.

Can't comment about Kwassie's send-off, will have to see the replay.

I'm very proud to support a team that comes back to 4-4 with 10 men.

As for Breeze, mmmm, not sure if this was his best performance.

Yes, I am gutted, but for 17514 people to watch a 9 goal thriller at our place is GREAT for the A-League.

We will be back.

What was with our defending from set pieces tonight?

Seriously we were shit in that department!

Yea our defending on corners was worrying all night and has been for a lot of the season tbh.

I couldn't be more proud of the boys tonight. I saw why we will win the comp.

Both reds were correct unfortunately but we gave it everything in front of a record crowd who were yelling their hearts out - wonderful. Ref was terrible. The slightest touch was a free kick to them when a blatant hack was play on against us.

Yes we had a few injuries (bad luck Heff) and cards but we will be close to a full squad when it matters.

I don't think any Sydney fan could be confident about the rest of their season when they struggled to beat 10/9 players.

BE PROUD!

Out of curiosity, for those who watched the game on TV, what time was the red card to Kwas and penalty given? Were the 3 minutes of stoppage time up already?

The referee would have added time on for the Heffernan injury which happened as the board was going up - ontop of that, what the 4th official says is really only a suggestion.

Barring the result, that was probably the greatest game of football i've ever seen.

Agreed

Game had everything.... Goals, cards shite ref ....this is why football is such a great game edge of you seat stuff.

Boys played well under trying conditions... Well done lads...

Guttered by the final result, with injuries and suspensions to come it makes for an interesting 8 days...

Bring on the tards :pirashoot:

Muse, 2 night stand at the new Wembley, 90 000 people both nights.  Whatever.  :p

For some strange reason, a whole stack of people at the front of 16 and 17 (or 15, can't remember which) thought that running onto the field was a good idea after fulltime.  It was fairly tame, until a more significant number of what looked like "first timers" (i.e.  not wearing yellow and stupidly drunk) thought that testing security and kicking out the advertising boarding was their idea of a fun post game celebration.  It got a bit nasty because security really had no idea what they were doing.......
