Mariners Vs Meow - Round 20

A loss here could see us slip dangerously down the ladder. Roar are coming off a decent performance against Fury. We need to shut out their wide men and cut off the balls in behind the line.

Heff is suspended for 5 yellows and Lawrie's twitter says Hutch is too, but the a-league site only has him down for 4.

Im going for:

        Danny
Boogs Wilko Doig Pedj
        Crowell
Travis        Hutch
      WeeMac
  Matty  Kwaz

Doig trained a full session and Weemac got through half. I think Pedj at LB is most likely. Lewis would also be an option.

The Mariners are playing at home. Against a team they have never beaten at home, even when Bluetongue was a fortress.

Roar 3-2.

after a few 'downs' we are most surley due for an 'up', after all records are made to be broken.

Coast 2 - Roar 1.

Hutch is out, so we are a DM down, and someone will have to cover heff as well... Probbaly a usual mid... no surprise Huke was put into the squad.

As to the game. Yes important.
We need to win.

We look so dangerous when we are hungry and adventurous going forward. When we are slow and cautious playing out from th back, with no quick switches of play then we areeasily closed out and unless usually weemac or Travis step up and run at players creating space then we seem unable to create many chances form open play.

Hope they are FIRED the hell up and really go after this one. No more starting slow. We need to start dominnating teams and being utterly ruthless. We are good enough. We just have to step up and prove it.

As to Roar - better balance to the squad last game, dangerous wide, they run at players constantly in attack and close down quickly when not in possession... but they should be fatigued somewhat.

That said, I think we are truly the better side and as long as we don't have another - can't put it in the net game, then I believe we will be too strong for them.

Porter or Clark      Boogs  Wilko          Bojic
Travis    Crowell  WeeMac  Kwas
          Simon  Elrich

There are a few players that a maybe lucky to be selected but with our current availabilty that is probably the best option imho.
