ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariners v WTFU 30/4

Maybe the rest of the stadium could actually make some noise and not be theatre goers waiting to be entertained?
Look I’m not trying to get into a fight with bay 16 and I appreciate and respect their efforts. I do make noise from my section but for the most part we can’t hear chants to get involved with so it’s more spontaneous. There’s plenty of room on match day for chants and the band.

now , i may very well be getting loonier as i age BUT I've thought for a while that bay 16 needs a couple of other megaphones planted on each side of the stadium to get the theatre patrons involved (thanks thurbs) maybe with a cue sheet or a two-way ...whichever

I reckoned I had seen it all this season and then Cumdog goes and hits a right footed shot!

Whod’ve thought? :headbounce:
Wasn't a bad effort either, turns out he has been foxing all along when he has been going round in circles trying to get it on his left.

You can’t overstate the importance of going into finals in form, unlike last this time last season when we kinda limped home.
This is a very important point, and for me it is not just the level of form but also the fact that we are still getting better, both as individuals and as a team. Belief - both self-belief and confidence in team mates - is also growing accordingly.

Another important point, and one that Monty keeps making, is the character of the side. This is a team that has a bit of mental toughness under adversity and that is going to be crucial with some potentially tough road trips if we do make the finals. Monty has very much moulded a side in his own image in that regard

Not for the want of trying though. FMD, how long did it take for VAR to work out the contact was outside the area, which was clear as day from one replay in the stadium.
FFA have released the audio and apparently it took 10 seconds and one viewing to confirm that it was outside of the area, the remainder of the 5 minute delay was because he took a phone call from Shaun Evans trying to convince him otherwise

I don’t disagree with you and old mates response was epic but I thought Dan Hall was good because Kye was better
they were both outstanding .wu tried to run prijovic down dan's side and dan owned him .
i thought we learnt from the first game against them .rowles covered everyones arse and as monty said at the presser. rowles is the best cb in the A-league .including the hyphenator and lacroix

That or they waited 5 minutes to start looking. At the ground I was convinced they were going to uphold it due to how long it was taking. There really was no good reason for such a delay.
