ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Great post - sweeeeet win and what a way to get it!

Interesting Jedi pointing to the Mariners logo after scoring. Surely that was a response to Aloisi pointing at his name after scoring ON THE SECOND ATTEMPT and going on like a goose. Can't argue with the pen decision though :piralaugh:

Heart will be a tough opponent. I think we are good enough. I hope McBreen starts again, only change would be Bernie or Duke for Mile. Personally don't think he's shown enough. INterested to see if Olly or Kwassie can force their way onto the bench too... Now our depth is starting to show again.

aye, Kwassie's in

The World Game:

"Striker Adam Kwasnik was included in the squad, but Arnold indicated he was unlikely to make the cut because he was still getting his condition back playing in the youth league after an injury.

“He’s not match fit yet,” Arnold said. “I’m looking at picking the two up front from Michael McGlinchey, Mile Sterjovski, Daniel McBreen, Bernie Ibini and Mitchell Duke. But at least four of those players will be in the side somewhere."

Very tough call....some hard decisions for Arnie but that is all good news. Caceres back soon too. Begging for a win this week to set us up for a blockbuster against Sydney. Will be great going into that one with some momentum.

WeeMac and mile2 are not strikers so let's get a grip.

Duke has been below par so far so obviously Ibini and McBreen should start.

I disagree on Duke being "below par" he's played lone striker, always difficult, and I think showed some excellent promise. But fell victim to Perth's mentality and style of play. He'll learn. But I do agree that Bernie and Mcbreen should be starting in front of him upfront at the moment.

thought this would be the case - once the boys had the 4231 comfortable Arnie'd start choosing which formation to use strategically. they looked comfortable in the 4231 against the scum which was pleasing and it happened earlier than i expected. now he'll also change it around mid-game too i suspect when it makes sense to. this is going to be a good season!
