ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Forgive my ignorance, but 'Mariners greatest hits'? Is this some kind of compilation of the best of the Mariners over the last four years? If so, is it available for purchase anywhere? :)

I remember a young man called GoldenBoy who was once quite the drinker. I remember one game in V1 or maybe even pre V1, where he could not even stand up, the very definition of the word "legless"

He may or may not have been seen being pushed through Gosford in a trolley later that night...... a myth I reckon.  ;)

I haven't heard that myth. Probably a different night when the young GB wanted to walk home to Bateau from CCLC and made it as far as a palm tree out the front of Iggies before he passed out only to be aided by a pair of lovely ladies (whom must of thought he was slightly retarded, a notion that is still today common amongst most people that meet him).

If we can perform well against Kawasaki Frontale, we can mix it with any team in this comp. The speed and technical skills of players like Nakamura Kengo will rip us apart more than Taj Minniecon (and he ripped us apart pretty well) e'er could if we're not on top of our game. There is real potential in this match for us to be disposed of unceremoniously.
The eternal hope springs from the professional, tactical and intelligent manner in which we conducted ourselves in Tianjin. We were looking impervious and dangerous. If it weren't for defensive lapses we would have lauded it as one of our best performances ever. Unfortunately, the end result did come with a tinge of disappointment
Never the less, it was a classy hit out especially when considering it was in a strange land indeed (they don't use forks, they use sticks!?). On Wednesday we'll be at home, confident and ambitious. A point will be fantastic, a win euphoric and put us in pole postition to progress in the biggest club competition in the world! (if judged by population)!!!

So hombres and femininas, Fire the f**k up!

I'm curious as to why one would even turn up if one's sole purpose is to get blotto. Just stay at home and skull vodka.

crowd 8,100.

It’s not my sole purpose lol. Someone has to get drunk and make noises in the stadium. Last game I could hear a pin hit the ground. I’m bringing the real football atmosphere back to life.
