If we want kids to go through to EPL level, we need academies like Europe does down the age groups to like u10. Thats an expensive process. And a long term process.

I think Mariners start at U12 but others would know better.

You are right need to be in as early as possible to teach the basics so when they get older you can teach them harder things than having to waste time on the basics they should know

Not to play mate totally agreed on that but as a cameo walk on, trot around and pass a few balls with no one around him,That would have been special for the rusted ons who`ve watched him for years.
He could have been the 6th sub named but as the game was safe with 2-3 mins left then let him have a swans song.I`m sure none of the players would have begrudged him that...

In an interview on coast fm before the game, Simmo said he will make a decision in the off season. Says he is feeling well just needs to get the neck right.
