ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I'm genuinely excited for the season now. I take back every preseason criticism I had. Thank you Mulvey, Mielekamp and Charlesworth.

If Charlesworth is happy to show trust in the club then so am I. I'm going to look at a membership this year, first time in ages.

Good work. You are a man that watches every dollar (smart). To have you invest your dollars tells me Mikey has finally woken up and people are willing to invest in his investment.

Happy to see MC open up the purse strings and get in the best striker we've had in a long while. McCormack is quality and has said he is fitter now than he was before. Considering he scored 14 in 17 and is fitter now gives me the funny old feeling called hope. Oar is more of a mystery, if he can regain form which saw him play for the Socceroos, we've got a good one.

Just on Berry, l think he hasn't gotten enough chances, but now with this side we've got, the depth is really strong and l feel like he won't get any game time. It's a shame because l had a chat with him last week at the Grammar School fete and was hoping he got more minutes and said he will get more of a chance to impress and earn some game time under Mulvey than he ever did with Okon. I wish him well since l think any player who takes some time to talk to a fan and actually look interested and invested in the conversation with me is always a big tick in my book.

Good kid but just not good enough from what I've seen.

Just came off a 19 hour day. Stayed up for an extra hour reading all the news and posts. Fuk'n Glorious.

So much positivity and excitement. And yes, that's a real squad we have on our hands now.

Yes ......... but !!!:naughty:
The squad is still made up of re-invented winners and hospital cases :-|............... the” but” being the success of the season no longer relies on the hope that they come good. Their usefulness as role players, the probable reason they were contracted, is now more evident and mm’s wisdom for his recruiting this season looks good............. even gooder :tv:.

For mongrel simon to be scoring with his head, although against debateable opposition, also indicates that mm has overcome the teams inability to cross the ball past the first line of defense above knee high :shoutclap:.

Here’s hoping aspro overcomes his injury and doesn’t find his comeback as difficult as gamiero did then all we need is kennedy to step up.

Geez, Offy, you'd see the silver lining in a cloud and exclaim
a) that it's hardly a golden lining
b) that the cloud has a greater density and could now fall, and
c) that silver is at least better than a sodium lining, but let's not get too excited

Very appropriate ........... I like to think that I am “grounded”

I thought I was being positive ???.......... sharing an observation that can only be seen from the bottom of an aldi cask but your salty remark is noted :naughty:

I lost you at “but” ........... didn’t I :headbutt:

I'm not so worried about BK, but if he gets injured. What then? We are pretty fragile then with GK's. We still don't have a specialist RB so that is a definite area of weakness.
I wonder if we're going to see more goals on average this season, given the key signings across the board seem to be in attack
f**k me, that'll be our luck. To lose games due to our defence and not attack Time will tell.
If we play 3 at the back then our defenders and mids will need to cop a few cards to stop attacks. . We can handle suspensions in the mids, but not the backs
