Kye Rowles is 21, not Gameiro. Gameiro has been wearing 9 in training, Aspro 2. In the trial games O'Neill 13, Macdonald 16, Miller 18 and Murray 25.
Apologies, Rowles announced as 15, Gameiro 21. Interesting that 9 & 10 are open. A CAM & Striker to come perhaps?

How many spots do we actually have left?
If I can trust my own counting skills, we have 23 contracted...
As far as I know we can only have 1 mature age rookie (assuming that’s Murray)
I don’t fully understand the scholarship contracts that’ve been mentioned on here that Gauci and possibly Kekeris are on..
I personally believe Kek’s is just on a normal FT contract.
So that leaves us with 21 really..

The club is 100% leaving 9 free for when Charlesworth forces Mulvey to deem Bolt competent enough. Sadly

So potentially they’re announcing a new 10 tomorrow night.
The Japanese boy that scored 2 for APIA the other week is a good shout for that imo

That can't be a 'massive' announcement. Though this is the age of constant undue hype.

Option A) Quality signing - surely the most likely
Option B) Another major sponsor
Option C) Bolt's being given a contract already ;)
Option D) Something outside the box: Purchasing of CCM stadium approved. Womens team confirmed for 2019/20 season... Other...
Option E) This guy wants to play football as well?

You can have six players on scholarship contracts (under 20 and on minimum wage) who aren't counted in the 23 man squad limit provided they're also registered for the youth league. Mature age rookies, guest players, and designated players also sit outside the squad limit. So with Kekeris and Gauci on scholarship contracts (both confirmed by the club) and either Macdonald or Murray as a rookie (not confirmed) we could sign another three players inside the cap, plus two designated players or four more scholarship players on top of that. So we have plenty of room to play with still.

Thanks for clearing that up for me.
I’d say Murray is more likely on the MAR deal as Macdonald was with the Wanderers for a season or so..
Although, I can’t remember if he ever had a FT contract with them.

Both of them are eligible. You can have had an A-League contract in the past, you just need to be over 21, last played in Australia, and not played in a fully professional league for at least 18 months. Millar might be eligible too, but I haven't checked his age or when he was released by Melbourne.
