He gets to play in the first team and not sit on the bench or be left out completely as a squaddie. What is his incentive to lock in?
ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Really? I thought squads were picked on form, not who was signed for the longest. He gets to play in the first team and not sit on the bench or be left out completely as a squaddie.
You missed the point. He's not good enough yet/strong enough/big enough to start in another side.Really? I thought squads were picked on form, not who was signed for the longest.
Niz still played even though he refused to re-sign.
If he's good enough he will be in the first team.
That's got nothing to do with him locking into a contract to get the club a transfer fee though. You missed the point. He's not good enough yet/strong enough/big enough to start in another side.
Whatever champThat's got nothing to do with him locking into a contract to get the club a transfer fee though.
That's where the conversation was directed - about him getting locked in so we get more than a development fee .
So...... Maybe wasn't me who missed the point.
Perhaps clubs look at more than current ability of a 17 year old. Just a thought! You missed the point. He's not good enough yet/strong enough/big enough to start in another side.
Far cheaper to exploit children.Perhaps clubs look at more than current ability of a 17 year old. Just a thought!

Interesting 2nd choice keeper upgrade! 😜
He hasn’t played in 22 months. Not what we need right now.DPC is getting there but a solid keeper could really help. Would like to this this happen.
He has played a few Perth games already? He hasn’t played in 22 months. Not what we need right now.
