ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

As at 11:05am in the UK. Still eleven and a half hours before the window closes.

Kuol remains on Tyneside

Newcastle United have not received any suitable loan offers from Australia for Garang Kuol. As things stand, he will stay on Tyneside and try to prove his worth in the second string. The Magpies are sympathetic to his situation but don't want to risk another bad loan move.

Previous stints with Hearts and Volendam have not worked out.

Honestly hasn't been any worse or had less impact than Feijao....arguably has been better.

Wild that we haven't had the conversation about releasing him, but this dude, on most likely peanuts of a salary gets released.
Also probably more about having a team to send him. Who is taking Fajeo?

Plus it’s loan so maybe we still paying him something

Makes you wonder if there was more too The attack from Trent and Jacko after the SFC game.
Yeh, this is very interesting, like he literally just came on, was 1 of about 4 players that led to that goal and yet Trent got straight up, spun around violently and absolutely ripped into Ngor... I remember thinking at the time it was weird.

Maybe more to it from training, attitude etc?

Presumably he’s on a contract and CCM need pay him, hence the loan. If not, it’s pretty brutal outcome.
CCM are obliged to pay him until his contact ends unless something was mutually agreed.
Football is the most brutal form of pure capitalism. There is no loyalty from either side.
A club will cut a player without thinking about it when it suits them to do so

To be fair, contracts are there to remove the need for any loyalty/emotion/trust. I’d rather it be unambiguous on paper. If everyone agreed to it and it was negotiated in good faith… 🤷‍♂️ Realistically, power imbalance and lack of good faith are pretty common, hence why good lawyers are 100% worth the pennies.
