ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Wonder what we might do if he isn't convicted?
IF the legal system decides he’s not guilty, who are we to judge? I know the world doesn’t work that way. I haven’t wasted my own breathe or mind space thinking about the bloke tbh. He won’t come back, we won’t take him back. He’ll leave the country as soon as he’s able to. But we do miss his on field ability, it’s a shame he got himself into the situation as he was a huge part of our success last season.

What's the issue? His contract expired while he was stood down while he goes through the legal system.

Beware a woman man scorned. His posts seem focused on letting everyone know how hard done by he was leaving the club and telling everyone how responsible he was for our success. Mixed in with a come and get me cry to Monty with the Spurs jersey and tagging Monty and Sergio.
I know it’s about selling his book but hopefully the process will help him move on.

The thing that always hits me about his posts - and I'll add the caveat here that I do like Andy - is that he claims equal credit for the good work of others. I'm sure he contributed a lot, but he rocked up for our 2 good years which others laid the groundwork for (Monty/Serg in the Academy etc.). S&C was Brice.
At best he played a supporting role, but in his posts it's always Monty and myself won trophies, or Brice and myself killed the S&C

REFLECTED GLORY!

The exact feelings I get everytime I see his posts. I also like Andy, I’m sure there was plenty of benefits in him being here whilst he was, mainly in teaching the younger players about the off the field side of things. I’m sure he probably was screwed over in the end. I’m even more sure there’s a good chance Andy overstepped his role sometimes, it’s just his personality. But the person that really screwed him over is gone. I don’t like how he kind of still paints the club in a bad light as if that person is still here. In saying that, I’ll still probably read his book.

Hope he’s found happiness back in Canberra, the man (like most of us) has his demons.

TBH - I can't imagine dealing with the ego that is Timmy Cahill for such a long time would have been a bed of roses.

He is always super complimentary about the club, the players and the community. His hatred seems reserved for individuals.

Today’s story.. with “Ding Dong the Witch is Dead?” I mean, I confess to breaking into a short (private) rendition of this when I heard about a certain woman’s departure, but yeah, wow.
I like Andy too, but surely it can’t be doing great things in terms of longevity, for his reputation. I don’t doubt people will be buying his book.. as will I. But I wouldn’t want to work with the guy.
Definitely not a sane (or healthy) state of mind!
