ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I think he means right fit in terms of age + potential to sell as we have seen with most of our imports being mid 20s recently.

However, if this was to happen, would we release Edmo or feijao? I would assume feijao, but having 3 strikers, and 2 being visa doesn’t make a lot of sense in regards to the squad and rotation of minutes?

TBH - he is more likely to sign for a Serie B club. If he was to come to us it would surely be a 4-5 month loan to help home regain his form in a lesser league. In which case Terrigal may be preferable (for him) to a stint in Saudi Arabia. The club would probably prefer the Saudi's paying more of his wages.

A Serie A striker would absolutely carve it up here. 34 year old journeyman with 40 caps for his country. Would be an insane signing if it happened but feels fanciful. Also seems against our MO to sign a mid-30's player but 🤷‍♂️

We've signed older players for their experience to bring up our youth before (Vuka, Sains et al.), but surely the $$ required puts this one firmly in the unlikely category
I am suprised we have shown any interest maybe they got the teams wrong and it was meant to be sydney fc or melbourne victory
