I can confirm he was barista. Whether he was cooked, hungover, wearing the wrong hat, spitting in old ladies coffees or naked from the waist down, I was sadly too far away to comment with authority.

He was working at his family’s cafe early morning as it was their busiest day of the year and they were understaffed, then went to training. I don’t believe he was late, though I’m not 100% certain of that.

I don't pretend to know anything. But that would have been my reaction too.

I also thought he came off with a niggle in the previous game. We had the poor game against Auckland an have also changed formations. Since the Auckland game we have got 4 points from 2 games. Are we putting 2 and 2 together and getting 5?

It has to be more than just putting in a shift before training. Maybe if he was late or didn’t turn up for any extra/prep stuff required of him but are we really going to say Jackson cares so much that he was working instead of playing video games, walking the dog or whatever? Brilliant coffee shop but so busy you often have to wait ages.

Always assume it's a lump of shit. That way we can be enjoy it more, if it turns out otherwise.
