He was offered the chance to head to Australia to link up with Jason Cummings at Central Coast Mariners. But the defender has now penned a deal which sees him move to McDiarmid.
I think we can find someone better and a better age.

Jason Cummings has put pen to paper on a contract extension with Central Coast Mariners.
The former Rangers and Hibs star will now be tied to the club until 2024 after adding one-year to his current agreement.
Cummings arrived in Australia in January and has not looked back after netting ten goals in 21 appearances.
His form earned him a spot in the A-League All stars team that took on Barcelona, while many
Speaking about his new deal, he told the Mariners' official website: “I absolutely love playing my football here on the Central Coast.

"Since moving from Scotland in January, my life has completely changed, and I am very thankful for the Mariners to make that happen.
“I am delighted to sign another year’s extension on my deal here and give back to the club which has turned my career around.

“Throughout the rest of my time here, I will continue to give 100% for this club and its fans and I can’t wait to have a full season under my belt and challenge for the league’s golden boot.”

Mariners Head Coach Nick Montgomery added: “Jason brings a lot to this team both on and off the field.

"Since his arrival in January, he rejuvenated the change-room but more importantly, proved his worth on the field too.
“With Jason’s performances and goals attracting serious interest from overseas clubs as well as proving doubters wrong and making a real case for a Socceroos call up, it’s a massive boost for the club that he has shown loyalty to stay with the Mariners as he has full belief of the direction the club is heading in.
“What he brings to this squad is experience and intelligence and to have a striker of his value and worth at the Mariners for another two years will do great things for the game in this region and also this country."

Nah not yet, especially with hall being next to him, need someone more experienced to be a starter next to hall, with windust as a backup
You’re probably right, I think Hall and someone experienced this year.
If Hall has another good year he will be off overseas and then next year it could be Windust + the same experienced player

Arguably the best squad we have had in years at this part of the season...

Miller & Rowles will be missed... but that Scottish international even at 35 could be a good pick up for a young backline...

Storm is a good experienced and hopefully cheap signing. Showed he was willing to pay the role required even when Miller was nominally ahead of him. A good backup especially if we have someone pushing him via the Academy.

Sozer is a good size and looked a competent A-League goalkeeper in the little we have seen of him. Desperately unlucky to suffer the injury he had hopefully he is back to his best.

If Birrighitti garners more overseas interest it could be an issue if all we have is Sozer and an youth keeper.

We also seem to have been cycling through quite a few youth keepers recently. Caruso seems to be the only constant at the moment. Is Caruso the number one youth keeper at the moment?

Don’t really remember Jovanovic but that’s probably more on the bulls being so dull. No need for Juric with Cummings, Urena and Moresche coming back mid season. Better to spend the money elsewhere. Golec would be great if we got pre-injury Lord Golec but I don’t think anyone has seen him in years. Windust just as good as a backup CB.

More chance of us going for mourdoukoutas than Golec, fits our development style more. On the other hand im also cool with not having to spell his name regularly
