ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariners Squad 2022/2023

Sadly that's the way it goes. Can't blame him, he has been dicked out of the squad and the public grilling he got in the all access (I called it at the time as the beginning of the end for him and got shut down pretty harshly on this forum) seems to have sealed it
Unless we sell someone he's likely to be a second choice for the time being, best move for him would be into midfield which might happen if he stays. I can't see him getting game time at SFC, McArthur maybe. Or the scum?

With Sasha more an attacking wing back I can see him as RB (which I have seen him play) as well as a central midfield choice.

I dunno, I wouldn’t be so sure about that. I feel like that was just pure coincidence he made that mistake the week they happened to be filming EVERYTHING and always put the “drama” in to get views.
I’d say there’s been probably 100 of those grillings in Monty’s time in charge to many different players.
He’s down the pecking order for sure, confidence was knocked for abit but he’s a popular guy here and there’s every chance Nectar gets an early move to Europe this off season which instantly throws hally back into regular status.

If he wants to go be a squaddie at Sydney then that’s on him, I’d be shocked.

Fazz ain’t going anywhere.
I think Theo will be extended and I still believe he’s a better footballer than Beni, just needs to get his physicals (stamina) to a better standard which he’s already close too.

It’s always likely we get gutted again, I’m not nervous given we’ve got the formula now, but I hope it’s mostly kept together with the carrot of AFC Cup football coming.

Beni combines well with the rest of the forward line. Theo needs to learn not to try and do everything on his own. Beni also does a mountain of defensive work both pressing and dropping back.

I dont blame him if he goes-he needs to set his family up for life. I had doubts at first based his reputation as a scallywag, but its been fantastic to watch him and seems like a good bloke. I imagine that he has also been a positive contribution to the culture and in the locker room.

It'll be interesting to see how he goes under a different coach.

That seems to quote a lot of stuff that was said some time ago. I'm not saying Jason is staying - but there seems to be constant announcements with nothing official by either club. I guess we will find out next week after the GF what the real story is. But if he is going we need some serious coin.

From everything the club, Monty and Dingo himself have said. They weren’t budging on any thing but a sizeable transfer fee.

That should be our expectation.
