Kaltak was given 6 months onlyAlso you said it’s tough to see him getting a contract for January, but aren’t they all contracted until the end of the season, Kaltak included?
ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. oh wow i didnt know that, cheers PPNot quite - Kaltak’s contract is an injury replacement, which means once Moresche is fit and ready to go, the contract is done. Weird, but that’s the way it works.
Kelechi has also been injured hasn't he?This is why the Kaltak signing seems so bizarre. We already had 4 centre backs in the squad who are arguably all better than Kaltak. At least three certainly are and the other is an academy kid that needs his opportunity to grow. I’d much rather see Windust given opportunity than play Kaltak. Don’t get why we wasted a visa spot on Kaltak with all that considered. Even weirder that he’s been playing ahead of Hall but especially Kelechi since at least there were questions on Hall’s fitness. Also trialled with us twice. Something else going on here? Something to do with our link to Vanuatu?
Who is fitting the bill for the tour of Vanuatu? Is it the Vanuatu FA or Peil? If it's the former I think you have your answer
He has been and he was poor in the 1st two games. However, he looked very good when he came on against Macarther. He was probably underdone and over confident in the 1st two games.Kelechi has also been injured hasn't he?
I think he was signed as a visa injury replacement so if Moresche returns he is out. Also you said it’s tough to see him getting a contract for January, but aren’t they all contracted until the end of the season, Kaltak included?
Interesting...He has been and he was poor in the 1st two games. However, he looked very good when he came on against Macarther. He was probably underdone and over confident in the 1st two games.
I believe Vanuatu FA is footing the bill.
Is that the same for Fornaroli at Vuck then, or do they have someone out for the whole season anyway? Not quite - Kaltak’s contract is an injury replacement, which means once Moresche is fit and ready to go, the contract is done. Weird, but that’s the way it works.
He is a citizen now so they just need to get him to Jan and can sign him on permanently provided they have the cap space. Is that the same for Fornaroli at Vuck then, or do they have someone out for the whole season anyway?
Don't get me wrong it's good to be cynical but it's a long bow to draw. Kaltak is here because Monty rates him.If Vanuatu FA is footing the bill and maybe even paying us to take Kaltak then that’s all we need to know lmao.
Cap space, that's a good one, as if anyone respects thatHe is a citizen now so they just need to get him to Jan and can sign him on permanently provided they have the cap space.
Deserved his shot imho. Monty is a tough judge believe me.Don't get me wrong it's good to be cynical but it's a long bow to draw. Kaltak is here because Monty rates him.
Is it really that long a bow? The cash strapped club just got paid to do a football camp overseas?Don't get me wrong it's good to be cynical but it's a long bow to draw. Kaltak is here because Monty rates him.
We literally had 2 fit cb's at seasons start. Including Kaltak. Not including NPL players. Is it really that long a bow? The cash strapped club just got paid to do a football camp overseas?
How is he going to get any game time? We are stacked in the attacking third.Going by Transfermrkt we appear to have released Manny Aguek, can anyone confirm? Thought he might have been a good prospect.
