Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariners Squad - 2019-2020

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit
Im shocked we let Munford go. He is a really good keeper.....levels above Pearce.

Can only be the hand of Pikey.
Absolutely 100% Spot on Womby, , as near as I can tell , he shits all over Pearce, and probably Kennedy too, BUT the club still brought in that useless Tom Glover ...da fuk did Mumf have to do to get a gig FFS.....im surprised he lasted this long

He’s floating them in. Bit hard to header when they are floating. Can’t get power behind them or he is over hitting way past back post. If he over hits it and we still end up picking up the ball is that considered a completed pass?
The odd one straight across goal has been to close to the keeper.

Agree he is trying hard and doing a more defensive job last couple of weeks but we need some penetration from our wingers. Cut backs drive inside etc. dare i say it like millar (the rat millAR) last season. He also is a winger turned wingback who doesn’t know how to defend
Our crossing directness and depth has been poor. Way too many floating ones to bad spots from the wrong spot on the paddock.
IMO if you're gonna hit it early, hit it from outside the 18. If you've got a man on you go to the byline. But don't hang the f**kin thing up.

We were discussing his at the Victory game - we never hit early crosses over the CB's for Muzz to run on to. Be interesting to know why

His passing accuracy and crossing are top notch. They did say they are after a particular type of character as well and he comes across as a good human.
While I understand why we've been playing him at left back (Clisby weakness) it can't have been helping his decision to stay/go, assuming it wasn't already a done deal that is.

Pretty certain it would have been purely dollars. You dont go to Campbelltown for any other reason than to make money

......oh i went there once to buy some ferrets from Ambervale........the animals were as putrid as the owners.
My son was excited at first but the rabid behaviour and matted fur and elongated toenails freaked him out and we sold them to some mong from Newcastle who came down on the train and stunk as bad as the ferrets he picked up.
Here is a tip folks....stay away from Ferrets.
Oh and stay away from Campbelltown......oh sorry Tommy too late. (Camden is pretty decent and not to far away)

I did read on reddit the other day that there's still a Sizzlers restaurant at Campbelltown. Maybe that's why.
But then on the downside he'll be moving away from Lake Haven. Home to one of the few remaining Pizza Hut restaurants.
So you know. Swings and roundabouts.

I seem to remember an old pub at Picton that was pretty decent though.

Surely you would be living in Wollongong if you played there. Less than an hour’s drive.

Sizzler is mega at Campbelltown mate a must for the away trip, and there`s still a Pizza Hut at Minto.
As for the "old pub" it`s the King George the vi, great pub and good beer too.
I`m looking forward to our first game down there. It`ll be mixed emotions for me having played all my junior football in Southern Districts with Green Valley Utd and then going on to be Chairman of Macarthur for 4 years.

Flat cap......i gave that a try when i was a schoolkid when Brian Johnson of AC/DC wore one. It was also my aid at pretence that i was from Yorkshire (mad Leeds fan) that fooled a few kids in my Home Counties school (North London)
One kid who was in the year above threw my hat into some old granny back yard over a huge hedge for a wind up.
I retrieved my hat very politely and went to his house once it was dark. I told his his Mum i was a mate from school and wanted to say hello. She called him out and he came for a chat.
I had two eggs in one hand....... i showed him the damage he had caused my hat and when he bent down to have a look....bosh.
I'm not sure how he explained it to his Mum but we became good friends after that (apart from the fact he was Bristol City).
Jack Russell......nup.

If only someone could have foreseen the exact thing dad warned them about multiple times before it happened. Way too familiar and my oldest is only 5.

Hey guys, all I know is that out of the 3 trialist (Sam, BWP and Diaz) Diaz has left the camp. LAFC also signed an international keeper which means if the negotiations of the CBA doesn't changefrom the last one in regards to international spots. LAFC currently doesn't have an international spot available.... But that could change.
