ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariner stuff not worthy of a whole thread

In our 11 game winless streak we have only scored 3 goals from open play and two more against City were from rebounds from set pieces so I didn’t count them.

Moss had 3 wins in his season when sacked. Sacked in March as well thats very soon, could replicate

Walmsley had 3 wins in his season and lost the FFA cup to green gully in a horrible performance that still had some controversy.

Paul lost to Blacktown in the FFA cup this year in a very disappointing loss that resembled Walmsley’s effort. Paul has won 3 games and is on 11 game winless streak.

Consistency says Paul should be sacked.

Paul has a stronger squad with 3 good foreigners and 1 dud. While he recruited better than the other two his results are still the same. Yes we don’t leak the goals but we still aren’t winning.

Been saying this for months now, completely agree. I'm not saying Paul isn't a better coach than Walmsley, but he isn't much better...

Yep. And while there has been plenty of bad luck etc and very close 'should have beens' which would have made a MASSIVE to the ladder we have also played a lot of insipid games and giving up 2-0 leads to 10 men games. We have probably played more weak games with an inability to score than great 'bad luck' games overall.
It's the toothless, gutless displays that bothers me the most

The coaching seems to be part of those inabilities to win games from in front. Lack of knowing when to defend a lead.

Paul’s record could be better easily but the facts are it’s not.

Wins matter for us greedy fans. Draws and should ofs and could ofs don’t get you in the top 6

We really need a new ground announcer.

The stadium DJ respectfully told Bradford City’s owners what they could do with their job when they invited him in to explain himself after he had played Road to Nowhere over the PA system following the defeat by Wimbledon two weeks ago.
The music was decidedly on message before Saturday’s match: Yazz’s The Only Way is Up. That message felt a little ambitious, particularly when the team squandered what looked like a certain winner by Shay McCartan in the 89th minute, to be held 2-2 by Bury, League One’s bottom club.

Ronaldo and Ronaldo and Messi vs Ronaldo and Ronaldo and Messi. Underwhelming would be hyping this up. Why don't they play with the actual teams?

Exactly why I don't watch, it's a farce that they don't play with, at the very least, picking from A-League players. The E-League is supposedly attracting younger fans, all they will do is attract them to Real Madrid and Barcelona.
