He is waaaay more talented than any footballer that’s ever come out of this country. He is the first footballer ever with genuine best in the world potential. I hope he’s better than just “the next Harry Kewell”.....

I don’t want to hate him. Before about half way through last year he was an iconic Mariners legend.

There’s a bit to it, some of it contractual and some of it attitude. I don’t hate him, but I’m disappointed in him

We were the first A-League team for Aloisi, Vidmar, Bosnich, Mori and of course Matt, so I think they all qualify. TBH give me a squad of Mariners all at their prime and they would do serious damage. Throw in the the Mariners NT coaching staff and then add Nick and Sergio to the mix.

No idea but I'm guessing they're counting Aloisi and Vidmar not to have come from the Mariners. In fact I don't think they played for Aus again after playing here.

Rowles played for Roar before here. Megsy for Parramatta in the old NSL before the Mariners. Ditto for Wilko and Northern Spirit.
