ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Mariner stuff not worthy of a whole thread

Given they're our two most potent attacking options, I think they'll both play at least three games.
At least 3? That is some good gear cut with a bunch of optimism (for the whole team).

I think 2 is more likely. I feel like the plan against France will be damage mitigation which won’t lend itself to a lot of attack, may see Jmac out there on the chance we pick up a penalty. Anything can happen if the game evolves in a favourable way but I don’t expect our attack to play much of a role there. It’ll be all set pieces and the odd counter. The others we’ll need to play for the win.

I don't expect JMac to play in the France game. Assuming everyone is fit a front three of Leckie, Duke and Boyle to defend from the front - then bring on Cumdingo and Garangski for the win!!

Agree, CD maybe one or two appearances and more than likely not against the Frogs. Garangski could very well get three starts off the bench. Vuks less likely however Ryan has had a knee injury only recently.

I was looking forward to the WC but even more so now with the potential to see some of our players involved including Bread Rowles. Still think it will be an enormous effort to get out of the group stage.

I wish all the team well and now have less hate for Arnie. Maybe he doesn't have much on offer after this WC and wants to keep his job, his reasoning in interviews on player selection seems sound. Useless press getting into him about Sains and Rogic, the public would have been questioning both being there on current form. He made the right call in my opinion. Crawley made the decision on the keepers, he is no dope so I can handle no Langerak as Vuks benefited from it.

Make it happen Richard ??

Have you played here - https://betpokies.com/reviews/yolocasino - it's YoloCasino. I like it, but I prefer to play without investment. I like to try my luck in general. Sometimes I get lucky and win. I wouldn't say it happens very much, but sometimes it happens.
A 35-year-old player? Except as an assistant coach :)

I would have loved Recoba or Suarez here after they had finished in Europe but not at 35. They would have been the perfect villains - like a Berisha on steriods

A repeat of Ronaldo's history would not do any good. Nothing against Ronaldo - he's a great player - but it's time for him to prepare for retirement.

KeepUp never works on my phone. Who did Vuka predict would be the next three Mariner Socceroos? I presume Faz is one? Nectar? Maybe Niz or Dan?
Faz, Aquilina and Silvera

That certainly is an interesting take, Aquilina and Silvera didn’t even enter my head when brainstorming who the three could be lmao.

Suarez is as big of a name as we could ever hope to get in the league regardless of whether he’s got a walking frame and hearing aids by the time he turns up. If they can make the numbers work it would certainly put some eyes on the league.
